INDICATIONS:
Frequent colds and flu, allergies, decreased immunological resistance, recurrent upper respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, atopic asthma, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, mild bronchitis (especially in children), allergic dermatitis
CHINESE FUNCTIONS:
Tonifies wei qi, strengthens the spleen, stabilizes the exterior, stops sweating
STANDARD DOSAGE:
8 pills, 3 x day.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, a 50% increase in dosage may be used, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect
For children 2-5 years old give 1/3 adult dose, 5-10 years old give half adult dose, 11 years old and up give 2/3 to full adult dose. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years.
INGREDIENTS:
Astragalus membranaceus root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Ledebouriella divaricata root.
CAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in hypertension as huang qi/astragalus may raise blood pressure in some cases.
