INDICATIONS:
Frequent colds and flu, allergies, decreased immunological resistance, recurrent upper respiratory infections, sinus inflammation, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, mild bronchitis (especially in children), allergic dermatitis
CHINESE FUNCTIONS:
Tonifies wei qi, strengthens the spleen, stabilizes the exterior, stops sweating
STANDARD DOSAGE:
8 pills, 3 x day.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, a 50% increase in dosage may be used, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect
For children 2-5 years old give 1/3 adult dose, 5-10 years old give half adult dose, 11 years old and up give 2/3 to full adult dose. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years.
INGREDIENTS:
Astragalus membranaceus root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Ledebouriella divaricata root.
CAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in hypertension as huang qi/astragalus may raise blood pressure in some cases.
